What personal data Orivanta Pay handles, why we handle it, and the choices you and your customers have.

What we collect

For business users we collect account details, contact information, and the identity and registration documents needed to enable live payments.

For your customers we receive only what is required to move a payment: the wallet or card identifier, the amount, and the result of the transaction. We do not receive or store full card numbers; card details are captured by our licensed processing partners.

Why we process it

We process this data to operate the payment service you asked for, to meet legal and anti money laundering obligations, to detect fraud, and to support you when something goes wrong.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your customers' payment data to build advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary data with the mobile money operators, card networks and banks that execute each transaction, and with the infrastructure providers that host the service.

We may disclose data where a court, regulator or law requires it. Where we are permitted to tell you about such a request, we will.

Retention

Transaction records are kept for the period required by financial record keeping rules in the markets we operate in. Account and identity documents are kept for the life of the account and for the retention period required after closure.

Application logs that contain identifiers rather than personal details are kept for a short operational window and then deleted.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Requests are answered within the period set by the applicable law.

If your customer asks you to exercise these rights over their data, contact us and we will help you respond.
